AI-Native Collaborative Workspace
Where Foundry ideas become real projects. Artel is a full-featured collaborative workspace with documents, tasks, whiteboards, GitHub integration, and a deep AI assistant — all on modern cloud infrastructure.
Artel is the execution layer of the Metantel product pair. Where Foundry is for exploring and shaping ideas in conversation, Artel is for turning those ideas into real, versioned work. It provides all the tools a modern team needs — docs, tasks, whiteboards, code integration, and AI assistance — built natively on cloud infrastructure.
Every project in Artel is a self-contained workspace: a page tree of living documents, a task board, a whiteboard canvas, and a GitHub mirror. The AI assistant understands the full context of your workspace and can answer questions, draft content, run standups, and help make architectural decisions.
Artel binds directly to GitHub repositories. Commits and issues are mirrored into the workspace in real time, and individual commits can be linked to specific docs and tasks. Code context flows into the AI assistant automatically, so the assistant understands what's been built, not just what's been written.
Every document, task, and linked commit becomes part of a per-workspace retrieval surface. The Pro assistant answers with citations drawn from the project itself — no hallucinated context, no leakage across workspaces. As the project grows, the retrieval surface grows with it.
Artel ships with a native Flow Console MCP connector — five live tools that allow Flow Console to read and write to Artel workspaces programmatically. This turns Artel into a writable knowledge base for AI-driven workflows: agents can create docs, update tasks, and query project state directly from the Flow Console interface.
Artel is live and in active use. All core workspace features — documents, tasks, whiteboards, GitHub integration, and the Pro AI assistant — are shipped and available. The platform is at artel.metantel.com.
Artel doesn't ship in isolation. It plugs into the rest of the Metantel stack through a shared protocol surface — context flows in and out without leaving the family.
